First Season pitching for the Kingsport Mets in 2008.
I played ball competitively at the collegiate level as well as the professional level. My collegiate ball was played at Sonoma State University where I played third base and pitched in relief. During my time at Sonoma State I was apart of two CCAA conference championships as well as a West Region Championship which lead to a division II college world series berth in 2008 where we finished runner up. Following my junior season (2008) I was selected in the 16th round of the MLB draft by the New York Mets as a pitcher. I pitched for the kingsport Mets in the Appallacian league for two seasons (2008-2009). Following my release in 2010 I decided to hang it up and pursue the rest of my education and begin my coaching career. The 2010-2011 season was my first year as a part time coach at Sonoma State University where the team again made their second trip to the division II college world series. I was absent for the 2011-2012 season due to family obligations. Returning for the 2012-2013 I became a full time assistant coach working with the infielders and also coached first base. Currently I am working on my masters in kinesiology from Fresno Pacific University where I plan to graduate from in August of 2014.
I also am the head coach of the Sonoma County Rebels 13 and under travel ball team. 2012 was my first season as the head coach and have assembled the same squad to make another run at a championship this upcoming fall.
